To: TCP-Group%UCSD.Edu@prug.or.jp I have small 386SL PC-compatible machine with 25-pin parallel port, and am going to make its connection to a TNC which has a flexible (work under several modes) parallel port interface, and no serial interface to the host. Wiring is OK, and PC -> TNC initialization seemed done, but direction control is impossible. Problem lies in here. In setup mode, I have LPT[1-3] naming choice (with different I/O addresses) for the port, but any choice for bidirectional mode does not appear. I have heard of something about changing mode. But trying with debug to command I/O then to switch into bidirectional mode took no effect... I am short of reliable information to modify driver. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
